We were pleased to welcome H.E. Sibylle Katharina Sorg, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, to Antalya Airport, together with Frank Quante, Dr. jur., General Manager of Fraport TAV Antalya Airport.

During the visit, POTAS presented its sustainable fueling operations and shared how its electric aircraft refueling vehicles are actively used in everyday aircraft fueling processes at Antalya Airport.

On this occasion, H.E. Ambassador Sorg and the delegation observed POTAS’ day-to-day operations on site and saw firsthand how our commitment to sustainability is reflected in practice. Depending on operational intensity, approximately 95-98% of our refueling operations are carried out with our electric aircraft refueling vehicles.

We thank H.E. Ambassador Sorg, Mr. Quante and all stakeholders for their visit, and extend our appreciation to the teams who made this programme possible at short notice.

As part of the second session of POTAS Talks, we were pleased to host Erhan Meydan, AI Educator and Strategist.

During his talk, he shared insights on the latest developments in artificial intelligence technologies, introduced emerging tools, and highlighted key application areas of AI. He also offered valuable perspectives on the potential impact of these advancements on the future of work and business practices.

As POTAS, we have launched the first session of our 𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗦 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 series, designed to strengthen internal knowledge sharing and bring up-to-date perspectives from different disciplines together with our employees.

In our first session, we had the pleasure of hosting Sant Manukyan, Deputy General Manager at İş Investment.

In his presentation titled “Economic Outlook for 2026 & Energy Markets,” the following topics were comprehensively addressed:

• Macroeconomic expectations for 2026
• Transformation, trends, and risks in the energy sector
• Key opportunity areas for the upcoming period

We believe in the importance of a strong macro perspective in strategic decision-making and aim to build the future on solid foundations by accurately interpreting evolving global dynamics.

POTAS has been accepted as a strategic partner for the 2026 period under the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Strategic Partnership Program in the Fuel Services category, as part of the IATA Aviation Energy Forum held in Mexico.

This recognition reflects our operational capabilities in aviation fuel services, our alignment with international standards, and our commitment to safe and transparent processes. It also represents an important step toward closer collaboration with global industry stakeholders.

We aim to contribute to the sector by strengthening knowledge sharing and joint initiatives within the IATA ecosystem.

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, we broke the record for the highest daily refueling volume in 2024 by refueling a total of 606 aircraft with 6,713,405 liters of fuel.

This figure, which we reached after the expansion project at Antalya Airport, also served as a field test for the capacity increase investments we made in anticipation of the increase in demand.

We will continue to accompany Antalya Airport and our accelerating regional tourism to new heights.

Our General Manager, Mr. Hüseyin Hilmi Aslanoğlu, was a guest on Mr. Guntay Simsek's Airport program broadcast on Habertürk TV.

In the section discussing POTAS's capacity development efforts and future vision during Antalya Airport's expansion process, the intricacies of aviation fueling, sustainability, the transition to electric jet fuel refueling vehicles, and POTAS's and Antalya Airport's strategic goals in regional aviation activities were also addressed.
